His Story

Personal Background

Tang Enya Kong, with a decade of experience as a lecturer at USM and MMU, has spent 18 years shaping minds in academia. With a profound 30-year background in R&D, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI, Tang is currently focused on developing an automatic live interpretation system utilizing large language model (LLM) APIs.

Initiative and Involvement

Tang's journey in AI began with a passion for reducing language barriers. Now, Tang's primary project involves creating applications for automatic translation and interpretation, aiming to break down communication obstacles and foster global understanding.

 

Skills and Talents

With expertise in AI and Python programming, Tang has been instrumental in advancing NLP applications. Invited as a visiting researcher at numerous universities, Tang collaborates with peers from diverse backgrounds, sharing R&D knowledge and applications.

Tang recounts numerous rewarding experiences, particularly those involving collaboration with researchers and users from various countries. These interactions not only enhance Tang’s own understanding but also contribute to the global body of knowledge in AI and NLP.
