Personal Background
Julie Goh, a former engineer and manager at a US-based multinational semiconductor company, took early retirement 21 years ago at the age of 46. Her retirement allowed her to pursue her passions for yoga, gardening, baking, and traveling, and to spend more time with her family.
Initiative and Involvement
In 2007, Julie Goh's journey into yoga teaching began after she took the Yoga Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) with the US Yoga Alliance. Her consistent practice and passion for yoga led her to start teaching part-time. She has since been actively involved in various NGO events, schools, and Buddhist communities, promoting a healthy lifestyle and well-being through yoga. Julie also volunteers as a baking instructor and bakes for charity.
Her initiative has had a significant impact on the community, helping many members improve their physical and mental health. Julie's yoga sessions attract a diverse group of like-minded individuals who support each other in their wellness journeys.
